With the continuation of the government shut-down, there is growing concern about food resources for our students and families. As an opportunity to provide for students at Ridge View and their families, we are holding a food drive! All donations collected will be shared with Ridge View students and families. Check out the flyer for details. If you are in need of assistance, please see the resource flyer for information and/or complete the attached Google Form: https://forms.gle/RYchSQKLft95XhX76

Additionally, military families who are experiencing financial hardship due to a government shutdown, such as furloughs or missed paychecks, are encouraged to apply or reapply for Free and Reduced-Price School Meal benefits for their children. Please see the included information sheet for details on how to apply.

Our kindergarten students are becoming young programmers! They’ve been learning how to code robotic mice to travel through a maze and find the cheese. It’s been a fun hands-on way to explore problem-solving and sequencing skills!

Ridge View elementary will host our Fall parties on Friday, October 31st. As a reminder, parents/care givers are welcome to attend during their child's party time. We ask that you check-in at the office. If you plan to take your child home with you at the end of their party, your child should return to their classroom to gather their things while you come to the office to check your child out.

Mrs. Mundwiller's first grade class has been learning about government and laws. They wrote letters to the Mayor of Warrensburg, Bruce Uhler. Yesterday, he and Chairman Pro Tem, Eddie Osborne, visited their class to share about their jobs and answer questions. What a wonderful real-life learning experience for our students!
